Pelican Harbor Seabird Station
Miami, FL
Sharpe Project Developments is proud to announce that we’ve been selected by the Pelican Harbor Seabird Station to manage the development of its new 2.5-acre wildlife rehabilitation and education facility in Miami, FL. The new facility will include an 8,000 square-foot education and medical building as well as several animal exhibits.
Pelican Harbor Seabird Station was founded in 1980 to care for injured brown pelicans. Since then, it has grown into an internationally recognized center for seabird rehabilitation, caring for nearly 2,500 patients annually. Beyond wildlife rehabilitation, the organization provides educational programs to local schools, assists local municipalities and residents in human-wildlife conflict, and partners with other organizations on research efforts to protect wildlife.
