Sharpe Project Developments completed the renovation, expansion, and historic preservation of a 15,000 SF clubhouse for Key Largo Anglers Club in June 2020. Dating back to the early 1900s, the clubhouse has served its 300+ members since the mid-1930s.

Our team managed preconstruction and construction activities, including due diligence, contractor selection, permitting, and construction management. During due diligence, we conducted geotechnical studies, boundary, tree, and asbestos surveys. We expanded the entrance, administrative area, and restaurant, and renovated the bar, piano room, library, and dining areas, which required a larger kitchen and a new covered terrace.

A major challenge was completing the project during the off-season to avoid disrupting holiday events. Despite tight schedules and structural and governmental challenges, we successfully re-opened the dining area in time for Thanksgiving.
